First Visit
What to Expect in Sunday Morning Worship
Sunday worship services at First Presbyterian are at 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. in the Sanctuary. The services last approximately one hour. Communion is served the first Sunday of the month.
What Should I Wear?
Visitors are sometimes concerned about what to wear. There is no Sunday dress code at First Presbyterian. Some men wear jackets and ties; some wear khakis and sports shirts. Some women wear dresses; others wear slacks. Just dress comfortably but respectfully.
If You Have Children
Children of all ages are welcome and encouraged to participate in worship services. On Sunday mornings, nursery care is available to infants and toddlers. Children ages 3-5 can go to extended care during the second part of the 11:00 worship services, following the Children’s Sermon.
Is there a Place for My Teenager? Certainly! Our youth group for middle and high schoolers meets weekly, and participates in Bible study, service projects throughout the year, and mission trips.
Sunday Morning Classes
Church school classes for all ages meet from 10:00-10:45 each Sunday morning. Nursery care is provided for infants. More information about Sunday classes for both adults and children can be found here.
Coffee and Conversation
Both are available in the Breezeway between the main sanctuary and the Education Building. Come join us!
