Youth Trips<\/h3>\n

The youth of First Presbyterian participate in several trips throughout the year,\u00a0 emphasizing spiritual growth, mission and fellowship.<\/span><\/p>\n

Montreat Youth Conference<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

This conference is designed for rising ninth graders through graduated seniors and takes place in the mountains of North Carolina. It provides an incredible opportunity for our youth to get away and spend a week in worship, study and relationship building centered around deepening our faith and strengthening the bonds of our group.<\/span><\/p>\n

Montreat Middle School<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

This conference provides all the advantages of Montreat\u00a0but takes place at Maryville College in Tennessee. It is designed for sixth and seventh graders.<\/span><\/p>\n

Mission Trips<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Each year our group selects a mission trip designed for our youth to serve others and gain perspective. Some past trips have included Ghost Ranch in New Mexico, Washington, D.C., New Orleans and the Appalachia region of Kentucky.<\/span><\/p>\n

Retreats at Camp Hopewell<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Each January and February our youth participate in a Junior High and a Senior High retreat. These retreats include a keynote speaker, worship, fellowship and the great outdoors!<\/span><\/p>\n
